Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen viewpoint previous Graça Viewpoint is in São Vicente (Graça district) in Lisbon.
Located next to Graça Church, surrounded by pine trees, this is a popular place of Lisbon, with a panorama of roofs and buildings typical of Lisbon.
A bar, terrace, sanitary facilities and accessibility for all, complete the offer of this Viewpoint, from where one can see the Castle of São Jorge, Mouraria, Martim Moniz, Baixa quarters, the Carmo Convent, Monsanto, among many other treasures of Lisbon without forgetting of course the Tagus River.
This view is only surpassed by the Lady of Mount viewpoint (Miradouro da Senhora do Monte) which is a scant hundred meters. Behind the viewpoint is an Augustinian monastery, founded in 1271 and rebuilt after the earthquake.
